This is a message for Aizu-chan that I wanted to share with you all, to see if you would all help out! <3

My sister in law (I have only brothers so she is like my own sister) almost died of tuberculosis a few weeks ago. She survived, but it was too close. Now she is very weak.

With my husband we would like to give her a present for her late birthday (which happened while she was in the hospital). She is a big fan of Tolkien and specially the Silmarillion.

I would like to ask all the members of this group to help me write "Happy Birthday" and her name (Eliana) in Sindarin or Quenya.
We found that her name means "the daughter of the sun" and we've translated it to quenya as "Anarel". But we're not so sure and want to find another options.

I thank you just as long as your read this.

Thoughtfully Aizu and Lenny.

Hey!  I'm looking for the tengwar sindarin script of the sindarin translation of "not all who wander are lost" which is "Law pain i reviar mistar aen", I think.  Could anyone help?  Thanks :)

Howdy! Kind of a long shot, but I'm trying to transcribe Khazad-dum into dwarvish runes, and I'm looking for some help!

I think I've got it, but there are different charachters for K and Kh, Z and Zh sounds, so I'm looking for confirmation. Anybody seen this? Anybody know one way or another? Any help would be appreciated =)

Is there an Elvish word that means "best friend/sister" or something like that?

Ahhh.. I'm not as familiar with that one, unfortunately. I'd highly suggest you send =snurtz a note with your request, as I recall, she's more comfortable with it then I!

I got this from a girl at my school, we kind of got something going on. She gave this to me in the shape of an origami swan, i unwrapped it and this is what i found.

What does it say? :O

It says,

"I had a dream about you.

Is it ok if I l(i)ke you"

I put the (i) in parentheses because it's hard to make out what characters she was using or if she put in the 'i', but given the context, it seems right.

No problem! If you were hoping that she likes you, well, she obviously does. ;)

If you ever want to write her back in Elvish, let me know and I'll help you out.
